A good design never goes out of style! Our classic R-48 - designed by Bendt Winge in 1970, is a strong and robust stackable chair with very good seating comfort, and has sold a total of 6 million copies.     

The seat is made of impact-resistant polypropylene (PP) and is available in a range of colors. Available with fabric in the seat / back or fabric only in the seat. Underframe is available in black, silver or chrome. Other colors on request.

We focus on the environment and sustainability, and all black R-48 shells are made from recycled plastic from our own production. 

R-48 is also available with chair shells produced from 100% recycled plastic waste from the fish farming and aquaculture industry on the Helgeland coast. Available in the colors Ocean green, Ocean black and Ocean blue from our Ocean color palette™.
